Scott is the Water Academy’s drainage expert. His work explores a range of themes including Sustainable Urban Drainage (SuDS), sewer and waste management, and flood risk from debris blockages.

Lynne’s research is in sustainable building design with respect to efficient drainage and water conservation.

Michael is an expert in building drainage design. His research specialises in water conservation and efficiency in building drainage design.

Sandhya is the Water Academy's environmental statistician. She specialises in using mathematical models to develop solutions to a range of real world problems, including climate change, extreme events, flooding and so on.

Aleksandra is a specialist in innovative water technologies for sustainable water management. Her key expertise is in phosphorus removal, recycling and recovery technologies for eutrophication mitigation and control.

Lindsay is a fluvial modeller and her research focuses on the impacts of hydrological extremes (floods and droughts) on ecosystems and society. Her work spans uncertainty assessment, climate change, ecosystem services analysis, sediment dynamics and environmental regulation and policy.

Zhixian is a specialist in river dynamics. His recent work explores the interactions between fluvial flow, sediment transport and morphology, and computational modelling in support of flood risk management.
